If you live in unincorporated Johnson County or one of its small towns, you can get a free home energy audit!
Residents of unincorporated Johnson County and the small cities of Hills, Lone Tree, Oxford, Shueyville, Solon and Swisher are eligible for no-cost home energy audits. The energy audit can help you learn ways to reduce home energy use, increase indoor comfort and save money on energy bills!
Homeowners are eligible, plus if you’re a renter, you can participate with your landlord’s permission. The BPI-trained audit team can accommodate your schedule for the home visit.
These energy audits for the unincorporated area and small towns are provided by Green Iowa AmeriCorps through a collaboration between the City of Iowa City and Johnson County.
